Kupastuntas.co, Central Lampung - The Special Anti Bandit Team for the Central Lampung Police, Indonesia, succeeded in crippling the perpetrator of the crime of holding the initial AN (29) in Terbanggi Besar. Because he resisted when he was about to be arrested, the perpetrator was finally shot in the leg by an officer, last Saturday (14/1/23).

The perpetrator of the hold-up, which often worries residents, was finally paralyzed at Jalan Simpang 3 Terbanggi Besar.

Head of the Indonesian Central Lampung Resort Police Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Edi Qorinas, said that his party was forced to shoot AN (29), a recidivist from Kampung Terbanggi Besar, because he confronted officers with a Fork-type sharp weapon and tried to escape.

"We have tried to surrender, but AN continues to fight Tekab officers, because resistance is of course very dangerous for officers in the field so that after we fire warning shots, we paralyze his legs," said AKP Edi.

AKP Edi explained that AN was the target of the police because he committed a crime on December 31, 2022. He pointed a knife at Aulia Fajar Ramadani (18), a resident of West Tulang Bawang at the Betan Keris Monument, Subing Terbanggi Besar, and seized the victim's cell phone and 200,000 rupiah.

Since that incident, AN has been on the wanted list (DPO).

Then last Saturday the Tekab 308 team received a report that AN was at Simpang 3 carrying out illegal fees on road users on the Sumatra Terbanggi Besar Route, without waiting long, officers acted quickly to arrest AN.

The items that were confiscated from AN were 1 sharp weapon of the Fork type used by the perpetrator when carrying out his crime.

"One more person is still on the wanted list (DPO), AN's colleague, we are still hunting for him, because we have his identity and are still being hunted by Tekab 308," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit.

AN is now being held at the Central Lampung Police and charged under Article 365 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 12 years in prison. (*)
