Kupastuntas.co, Bandar Lampung - A house on Jalan Tupai, Gang Delima number 38 RT 09, LK 2, Sidodadi Village, Kedaton District was burglarized on Monday, January 16, 2023 at around 03.00 WIB.

As a result, two motorbikes, the Vario BE 2645 BM and the Genio BE 2446 ADS, were stolen from the living room of the house.

The victim's family, Asep Budi Setiawan, said that initially the family knew that the thief had broken into their house when they finished the midnight prayer.

"It is suspected that the perpetrators entered by prying the windows of the house, then took the two motorbikes that were in the living room," said Asep when met at the location.

He explained that the perpetrators were estimated to number more than two people and allegedly entered by prying a window using a screwdriver.

"The perpetrator only took the motorbike and the motorbike key was hung near the door, as if the perpetrator already knew the key was there," he said.

Asep revealed that the family had heard the voice of the perpetrator starting the motorbike, but did not expect that the thief had broken into it.

"Sister heard the sound of the motorbike being turned on, thought her son was going out of the house because he was praying midnight on the top floor," he said.

Because he was suspicious, his older brother went down to check the lower floor of the house and it was unfortunate that the door to the house was wide open and two motorbikes were missing.

"Checking down, it turned out that the children were still sleeping. Then I saw that the door to the house was open and the two motorbikes were gone," he explained.

Asep revealed, apart from his brother's house, a neighbor's house had also been burglarized, but nothing was missing because it couldn't be broken into.

"Tonight there were two locations, the next door to the house was also gouged but it couldn't be opened so nothing was lost," he said.

Regarding this incident, the victim's family has reported what happened to the Kedaton Police with the police report number: LP/B/48/I/2023/SPKT/Kedaton Police/Bandar Lampung Police/Lampung Police, Monday 16 January 2023.

Based on Kupastuntas.co monitoring, it can be seen that at the scene of the incident the perpetrator left two pairs of sandals after carrying out the action. Not only that, there was also a cigarette butt that allegedly belonged to the perpetrator before carrying out the action lying near the window where the incident occurred at the house which the perpetrator failed to take apart.

The Bandar Lampung Police Inafis team has also processed the crime scene and asked for statements from witnesses.

Head of the Kedaton Police AKBP Atang Samsuri said he had received a report and was currently investigating. (*)
