For information, the Saburai Sports Center location with an area of approximately 2.3 hectares will be built by the Lampung Province Great Mosque which will be funded by the Bakrie Amanah Foundation.

Based on kupastuntas monitoring at the location on Thursday 26 January 2023, it can be seen that the walls inside the building have been partially demolished. In addition, the roof of the building and light steel also began to be dismantled.

"Yes, we have been working for several days, and currently the process is taking down the roof and light steel. After that, only the walls will be on the outside, now there are still parts on the inside," said Beben, one of the workers when questioned.

Assistant II for Economy and Development for the Lampung Provincial Government, Kusnardi explained, the Great Mosque of Lampung Province will be designed according to local wisdom and be able to accommodate up to 12 thousand worshipers.

Meanwhile, the sports facilities at the Saburai Sports Center will be transferred to the Sport Center located in Tanjung Bintang and Jati Agung Districts, South Lampung Regency and will be built in stages in 2023.
