Kupastuntas.co, West Lampung - Having fled to Hajimena, South Lampung, the Balik Bukit Police Anti-Bandit 308 Special Team succeeded in securing IW (34), the perpetrator of a motorbike theft that occurred in Kagungan Village, Lumbok Seminung District, West Lampung Regency.

West Lampung Police Chief AKBP Heri Sugeng Priyantho, through the Balikbukit Police Chief Iptu Arnis Daely said the theft occurred on Saturday (01/28/2023) at around 04.18 WIB, with the victim named Febby Pradana, a resident of Beringin Village, Lubai District, Muara Enim Regency.

At the time of the incident, Febby was working in West Lampung and parked his vehicle in front of his place of work. Not long after he was about to leave, Febby saw that his motorbike was gone. Due to this incident, Febby suffered a loss of IDR 6.5 million.

Then the victim reported the incident to the Balik Bukit Police, based on Police Report Number: LP/B/1/I/2023 / POLDA LAMPUNG / RES LAMPUNG BARAT / SEK Balik Bukit 28 January 2023.

"Based on the report, we immediately conducted an investigation by checking the CCTV at the location and collecting information from the victim. Then, based on the results of the investigation, the perpetrator was found to be in the Hajimena area, Lamsel," said Arnis, when confirmed. Thursday, February 2, 2023.

After obtaining information about the whereabouts of the perpetrators, the Balik Bukit Police Anti-Bandit 308 Special Team immediately gave chase and succeeded in securing the suspected perpetrators along with some evidence in the form of cell phones, a blue Yamaha Vega 110 cc motorcycle with the number BE7021 Y.

When the suspect was about to be arrested, the perpetrator wanted to fight back and escape from the officers' pursuit, so that decisive action was taken when the perpetrator was arrested.

"Currently, we have secured the alleged IW perpetrators along with the evidence at the Balik Bukit police station for further investigation. As referred to in Article 363 of the Criminal Code concerning the crime of motorbike theft," he concluded. (*)
