Bengkulu and Lampung Tax Revenue As of May 2023 Reaches IDR 3.86 Trillion

Kupastuntas.co, Lampung English - The Regional Offices of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) Bengkulu and Lampung noted that tax revenue from January to May 31 2023 amounted to IDR 3.86 trillion.

Head of the Regional Office of the Bengkulu and Lampung Directorate General of Taxes, Tri Bowo said, the realized amount of IDR 3.86 trillion is equal to 37.49 percent of the target of IDR 10.29 trillion mandated in 2023.

"Hopefully this year the target can be achieved. Because last year we also exceeded the target, namely above 100 percent of tax revenue," said Tri Bowo, during a Lampung media gathering, at the Bengkulu and Lampung Directorate General of Taxes, Monday, June 5 2023.

Where is it clear, the amount of tax revenue in 2022 is IDR 10,176 trillion or equal to 118.54 percent of the target mandated to the Regional Offices of the Bengkulu and Lampung Directorate General of Taxes.

"Currently the Regional Offices of the Bengkulu and Lampung Directorate General of Taxes have a total of 1,845,614 registered taxpayers, spread across 8 Tax Service Offices. Primary, 1 Middle Tax Service Office and 11 Service Offices, Tax Counseling and Consultation," he said.

The details are 1 Middle Tax Service Office, 5 Primary Tax Service Offices and 7 Tax Service, Counseling and Consultation Offices located in Lampung Province. Meanwhile, 3 Pratama Tax Service Offices and 4 Tax Service, Counseling and Consulting Offices are in Bengkulu Province.

Then, for who are the top 10 taxpayers in Lampung, his party cannot say now. Because there are regulations that regulate it.

"Maybe it will be delivered at another time, because there are stages. Because taxpayers must also pay this tax in stages," he said.

"But if it reaches the final stage of legal action, namely going to court, then we can convey who is a taxpayer who does not pay taxes," he said.

Furthermore, for the large tax revenue sector, namely large trade, then the processing industry, financial services and government administration, as well as the fisheries and agriculture sectors.

Meanwhile, the achievement of compliance with Annual Tax Returns in the Regional Offices of the Directorate General of Taxes Bengkulu and Lampung as of May 30 2023 was 428,311 Annual Tax Returns or 79.34 percent of the target of 539,833 Annual Tax Returns mandated.

"Last year out of 34 provinces we ranked 2nd nationally. Hopefully this year's Annual Tax Return we will rank first," he hoped.

On that occasion, the Chairperson of the Lampung Indonesian Journalists Association, Wira Hadikusuma said, he was ready to support and support the Regional Offices of the Bengkulu and Lampung Directorate General of Taxes in obtaining the achievement as the best number one in Indonesia in obtaining taxes and its Annual Tax Return.
