Kupastuntas.co, Lampung English - The Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration is targeting transactions of IDR 2 billion at the 24th Indonesian Appropriate Technology Event (GTTGN) which was officially opened at the Way Halim Sports Activity Center (PKOR), Bandar Lampung City, Wednesday 7 June 2023.

This was conveyed by the Head of the Village Information Development Agency, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration, Dr. Ivanovich Agusta when delivering his report at the opening of the 24th GTTGN Nusantara event which covered 150 booths.

"For the creation of each province, there are stands that are put together, so that it becomes a very large stand and we are sure that with a stand like this it will be very difficult for the judging team to determine the winner in the 24th GTTN event," said Dr. Ivanovich, when submitting his report , Wednesday 7 June 2023.

The value of the goods exhibited by all the stands currently reaches IDR 1.82 billion, consisting of IDR 599 million for the price of appropriate technology currently on display plus IDR 1.22 billion for village products excluding the appropriate technology currently on display.

"Like last year's appropriate technology event where stand products were sold out completely, and the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration and the Lampung Provincial Government are targeting appropriate technology transactions this year for appropriate technology to reach 700 million," he said.

"Why can there be more than what was exhibited, because this includes sales at booths and orders for appropriate technology tools. For example, Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra Province, which has received orders for 30 appropriate technology tools," he continued.

The sales target for products other than appropriate technology is targeted at Rp. 1.3 billion so that the total transactions in the GTTGN implementation are targeted to reach Rp. 2 billion or over the next 5 days the average is 400 million per day, and this is outside the people's market around the event's activities.

The Lampung Provincial Government also added its own creations to the 24th appropriate technology event this year, including the event which was held from June 1 until it ends on June 11, 2023.

It is hoped that the exhibition will be held every Saturday, Sunday and holidays so that it will be easier for people to visit and enjoy appropriate technology.

"The Lampung Provincial Government has also added a fast-paced competition for village development, this is an excellent strategy to introduce a more in-depth side to the unique side of village development," he concluded. (*)
