"We sent 3 fire engines, 2 from the Fire Department and 1 from the Bumi Waras post. Thank God, at 9.10 WIB we managed to put out the fire," said Anthony, when confirmed, Wednesday 23 August 2023 afternoon.

Anthony emphasized that there were no casualties in the incident, but the loss due to the fire was estimated at IDR 100 million.

"The host only managed to save 1 motorcycle unit," he said.

With this incident, Anthony appealed to residents to be more vigilant considering that it is currently entering the El Nino dry season.

"We never stop appealing to the public according to government recommendations. It is also not permissible to burn garbage for whatever reason, be it in private yards or in public places," he explained.

One resident, M. Habibie, said the fire was caused by a short circuit from the HP charging cable. "So there is another cellphone in the charger, and the owner of the house is sleeping," he said.

Habibie revealed that previously the home owner's son had tried to put out the fire.
